The race, held on October 5, 1947, on Lausanne’s temporary urban circuit, saw Luigi Villoresi claim victory in a Maserati 4CL, followed by Jean-Pierre Wimille in a Simca Gordini Type 15 and Emmanuel de Graffenried, also in a Maserati.
