As the first illustrated advertisement for the event—its debut year featured only text—it captures the raw speed and power of the Mercedes SSKL in a composition as dynamic as the race itself. That year, Rene Dreyfus claimed victory in his Bugatti T35B, adding to the legend of Monaco.
